How To Free Yourself and Your Life By Have a PLAN B

You know when you are born and live in a country like Nigeria, you think all you need to do to escape the troubles of life is to get money. In developed countries where the rule of law, social order and justice is followed...
this is true to an extent. In a country like Nigeria, not so much. And here's why. Like @ayosogunro said in his seminal book, "Everything In Nigeria Will Kill You", having money or being "successful" is not enough.

In Nigeria, a tanker can fall on your G-Wagon and kill you,...
you can get into labour, deliver twins, get unattended to for hours and die like happened to my friend @catherineegwali just last week (RIP Cathy), you can get kidnapped on your street because security is non existent, and so on and so forth.

Basic line, wealth only goes so far.
So when I finally got comfortable, I realized money wasn't enough to get unstuck in a country like Nigeria. I realized in a country like this that was only the first step. You need to go to extreme measures to safeguard your wealth and ultimately your life.

I started looking...
for answers.

My search led me into the world of personal sovereignty, second passports, foreign trusts, tax avoidance (not defaulting), offshore trusts, offshore business and

I was excited. There were many ways to unstick myself so I could be free of the yoke called Nigeria...
anytime I wanted.

I quickly started with that and in this thread I want to show you guys a few things that have cost me tens of thousands of $$ but which I assure you you need to have a measure of safety if you decide to live here.

Note, this isn't about urging you to leave,...
you can do that surely if you want to, and it in a lot of cases, that is exactly what you should do. This is about what you need to do if you live here in Nigeria and if you live in high scrutiny countries like China, Russia etc, you know the rest who shall not be named.

Okay...
So lets focus on Nigeria. What you need at the very least is two things.

1. You need a way to keep your earnings outside the Nigerian monetary system (where the FG, CBN and banks cannot touch it)

2. You need a way to get out of the country if there is urgent need to do so.
Let's start with Number 2, a way to get out of the country if there is urgent need to do so.

You all already know what happened yesterday. We have a President that keeps exploiting our fault lines and fracturing the country. You all know we have fought a civil war before. If...
If you think Nigeria will not descend into chaos again, you better think again. I am not saying it definitely will, I am saying it can, and if it can, you had better be prepared to leave with your family, to safety and out of harm's way, so that when the dam bursts you can be...
out of harm's way in a moment's notice.

To do this you require at least an international Passport. That's the very most basic requirement. If there's trouble, neighbouring countries will shut their borders on us. Why? because it's self preservation. They can afford to let us in.
If you think Benin, Cameroon, Togo and Ghana will let 180 million people move in and engulf them, better think again.

You need to be prepared. Get an valid International Passport for everyone in your family. That gives a chance to be let through at least.

But beyond this you...
need second passports and "golden visas".

Most rich people in Nigeria especially those in Govt have second passports or at the very least permanent residences (aka GOLDEN VISAS) of other countries.

If they don't believe in Nigeria 100%, why should you?

Let's talk about these.
@marekchinedu did a post where he explained why he purchased a second passport. Here's the post:

If you have money, you should do this or work towards it ASAP.

This is critical. You can have your children abroad, but how about you yourself?

Admitedly...
they cost a lot starting from $120,000 depending on the country, each one has different requirements.

Get it.

If you cant get that, then you should consider the "Golden Visas". These are the permanent residencies that you need to renew maybe once a year or every 2 years.
An advantage "golden visas" have is they are also a path toward full citizenship Countries with programs like this include Brazil, Ecuador, Macedonia, Panama (the easiest of the lot and it's very close to the USA and Canada!)

Here's a document (this cost me a lot to get) that...
explains briefly about Panama s3.amazonaws.com/smconfidential…

There's also Hungary, Cyprus, Malta, Antigua, and Spain.

You don't have to permanently stay in any of these countries. You simply need to be able to go there at a moment's notice where you Nigeria Passport won't let you.
There's also Ireland. Got a business idea? launch it in Ireland and you could get permanent residency there.

Read more here: s3.amazonaws.com/smconfidential…

There's a similar program too in Estonia which I'll share shortly.

The long and short is, have a way to leave here in a flash...
if the need arises. At the very least start googling and looking into options. get an international passport. The earlier you start the better for you and your family. Be ready.

Now let's talk about how to keep your money where FG, Banks and CBN can't touch it.
In 1967 in Nigeria, a genocide broke out and Igbos were slaughtered in their hundreds of thousands, most fleeing to the East where they were enveloped in a war that further killed millions (those who had second passports and golden visas left and survived, Go figure).

Anyway,...
the war ended in 1970. It was declared there was "No victor, no vanquished". As everything in Nigeria is wont to be, it was mere rhetoric, there were clearly victors and the vanquished were made to further suffer. How?

The FG passed a decree giving every Igbo who could show...
they had some money before the war (or was it adults of a certain age? I cant remember). Anyway they were given just £20 to start their lives afresh. It didn't matter if the person had just £10 million pounds before the war or £1 million. The currency was changed, and everyone...
had to start with £20. Do you know how dehumanizing and crippling that was? Igbos had to fight to build their wealth again from the ground floor up. I tell you this to let you see that if Nigeria gets caught up in a war again, the Naira will be a useless currency. And this time...
it will affect everyone, because unlike 1970, everyone will be involved.

You will not be able to convert it to foreign currency anymore. Inflation will rise to astronomic levels and it will be worse than Venezuela. Take this to the bank.

I am not an alarmist. I am a realist.
I pray we don;t get to this but the things I am seeing do not give me any confidence that it won't so better be prepared than be caught unawares.

So here's the first thing you need to do.

1. Convert part of your income to dollars

Why dollars? Because if Nigeria goes to shit...
you can still spend dollars.

All you need to do is take yourself across the border and change some of your dollars.

But you can't carry currency around when running right? Yes correct. That's why you need a foreign bank account.

Open one ASAP today, not tomorrow.

You can...
wire part of your money into this account and you have access to it anytime. All you simply need to do is stay alive.

This is not money laundering, I do not encourage money laundering at all, so please make sure you pay taxes on all your income. This is safeguarding your wealth.
Which bank should you open an account in? Euro Pacific Bank

Make sure you have a passport photograph signed, a scan of your international passport and your first deposit is as low as $500.

You can open the account and do this deposit later. Go here now europacbank.com.
Your account in this bank is safe, secure, you get a card that allows you make payments and withdrawals, you dont get charged any taxes by the Govt of St. Vincent where it's domiciled, and the sweetest part is your details are secure forever.

The FG will never get to know if...
you have an account here if they bang their head on the wall asking the St.Vincent Govt to tell them.

Your deposits are backed by the Gold Standard and secure.

Now the next steps with also helps rhyme with what I discussed earlier about getting passports or "golden visas" is...
setting up a business abroad.

Certain countries give you a lot of leeway to a residency if you start a business there.

EG Ireland will. Details: s3.amazonaws.com/smconfidential…

A great new option is Estonia which gives a startup visa for $65,000. Details here: startupestonia.ee/about
If you can't afford $65,000 here's Estonia's next best option which is called e_Business resident. Details here: e-resident.gov.ee

This program allows you register a business in Estonia, pay very little taxes, have a foreign bank account and onboards to their Startup VISA
You need a way to keep your earnings out of the reach of the FG, CBN and the banks who will restrict them from you. The Bank of England just refused to let Maduro's Govt in Venezuela withdraw their money. What do you think the CBN can and will do if the situation calls for it?
Safeguard your money, safeguard your wealth, have a way to escape this place if need be. The rich have this info and will never share them with you. I have done so now.

It's up to you to use it.

ADDENDUM:

About protecting your money. You can convert your money to dollars or keep it in Naira and use it top buy Bitcoin. Buy just BITCOIN, no other crypto. It's the most interchangeable crypto available.

You can use sites like Luno.com to buy.
Note: Understand how to keep your Bitcoin safe via an online wallet (NOT PHONE APP please)

This article should help explain that.

bitcoinmarketjournal.com/how-to-open-a-…

Once you buy it from anywhere, transfer it to the wallet.

God speed.
Second ADDENDUM: There is a difference between tax avoidance vs tax evasion.

Tax avoidance is setting up your business entity in a way that it takes advantage of all the legal tax loopholes so you don't pay more than is necessary. Tax evasion is REFUSING to pay. That is illegal.
Please PAY YOUR TAXES. Limit it to the lowest allowed by law.

Do to EVADE TAX. And DO NOT launder money. Keeping money you earned abroad is NOT WRONG.

It's taking it abroad so you don't pay tax on it that is illegal. DO NOT DO THAT.

Don't say I didn't tell you.

Peace 🙏🏾
THIRD ADDENDUM: Someone just pointed me to a link where supposed customers of Euro Pacific Bank say it's a scam.

Look, online people tag things as scams when they have an issue with it or when they hear someone did, even if it wasn't them whether its true or false.

However...
I admit the Caribbean is a hot bed of financial mazes and you need some level of sophistication to understand it.

What you need is a foreign bank account. You dont need the Euro Pacific Bank to get it.

Use the Estonia e-residency program to still get one e-resident.gov.ee
When you apply ( i believe it costs $160), and get approved you can open a bank account for the business in Estonia using any of Estonia's established banks.

You're welcome.
FOURTH ADDENDUM: Euro Pacific Bank is no longer in St. Vincent. It's now in Puerto Rico, a US territory.
FIFTH ADDENDUM: Thanks to @_subomio who pointed me to these two links to servixes which you can use to create offshore companies and bank accounts.

Here you go: (he says he's certain about the first one)

1. icoservices.com/index-en.html

2. swiss-privacy.com/service/swiss-…
SIXTH ADDENDUM: Do your own research before you take any decisions.

This thread is for informational purposes only.

Make sure you consult an expert in finance, offshore entities and/or emigration before you send money anywhere.

We shall not be held liable for your actions

When you open a new Google Ad account:

1. Make sure you input a Dollar Card from a bank (not Barter, and not Naira)

2. Set up a generic ad FIRST. Make sure it's tamer than sheep.

3. Do not be silly and use a landing page that says, "How to Make a Gazzilion Naira in 2 Seconds".
4. Make sure your landing pages has links to an "About Us", "Terms and Conditions" and "Disclaimer" pages.

These should not be dummy pages. They should ACTUALLY have the content as labelled.

5. Set up a generic ad FIRST. Make sure it's tamer than sheep.

Yeah it bears repeating
6. If your account is banned anyway, appeal. And send supporting documents - screenshots of your address, a utility bill, business registration documents, etc.

You want to make the best case you can. You don;t have a registered business? Why? LOL!

So a few minutes ago, @theskinpriest responded to my tweet saying a 33-year-old dating an 18-year-old was predatory.

I responded off the cuff saying I don't believe it is. But it made me think.

I know a lot of this may be genuine but we have to admit, despite an 18-year-old...
being an adult, do they really have the emotional maturity to navigate sexual relationships with someone who is quite older & who obviously has garnered a lot of experience along the way by virtue of age?

I remember a friend of mine (lived abroad at the time, Dad was a diplomat)
who told me she ran away from home to be with her then 30-year old boyfriend, who married her and then subsequently proceeded to batter her emotionally and physically over the next 15 years until she managed to divorce him.

We cannot deny the dynamics for this age range are...

I want to say something to Ndiigbo, my brothers, and sisters.

You may not have noticed (o maybe you have, you're not blind and you have sense) but but a section of our people have cultivated a reputation for being frankly a pain in the ass, and it's not a good look.

It's not.
No one wants to deal with perpetually angry people, not for business, not for leisure, and especially not for political affiliation.

Its not just become silly, it's become detrimental to our collective goal.

We are known for being perceptive, for good neighbourliness and for...
being proactive, but I must say that what's happened here the last few months is not it at all - it's always fights with tribes we should be working and forging an alliance with or worse, in-fighting amongst ourselves.

I used to think it was mainly orchestrated by IPOBians but..

Paul Adefarasin has said "get a Plan B". Whether you're as rich as he is, is immaterial.

Cotonou is a Plan B if thats what you can afford.

A Plan B is an emergency plan you activate in case something goes wrong.

Dont listen to people who live safely abroad telling you nonsense
There is a place for hope + faith and there is a case for facing reality and dealing with issues as they present.

That Paul Adefarasin is a PAstor who should preach hope doesnt mean he cannot tell you to prepare for stark realities.

Anyone saying otherwise is just plain stupid.
Some jews in 1944 Europe saw the handwriting on the wall, changed their monies into Gold, and emigrated to the USA. Some dismissed the warnings and stayed back.

The very following year Hitler invaded and hauled millions off to the gas chamber.

Imagine the regret of many.

So today, I am going to quickly talk about 4 or 5 countries where you can get residence visas.

Why residence visas?

For starters, they are cheaper, FAR CHEAPER than passports, and offer almost all the benefits, not not, but a large swathe of them.

Second, residencies can be...
a pathway to citizenship.

In one or two of the countries I will talk about tonight, if you renew your residencies long enough, and fulfill all requirements, according to their law, which differs from country to country, you become eligible to apply for full citizenship.

So...
