Rule of law in Nigeria has become a dubious leeway for offenders, knowing how egregiously silly d justice system has become. In 2018, Fayose caused an accident on 3MB that damaged a bus and a LASTMA motorcycle. He promised to replace them.

Fayose's aide later removed his car from Oworo LASTMA Command, while the bus owner was left in the cold with his source of livelihood taken away. He has put his story in the media several times, but Agbakoba & Ozekhome have no time pursuing such. I learnt he has gone to Falana.

Onnoghen is Fayose that studied law. Dont waste your time on legalism of his suspension as a chief law officer found to have broken the laws of the land. For the sustainance of social order, a society may have to self regulate following the uncoded principles of natural justice.

To form a proper opinion on PMB's action against the CJN, I'll recommend to solicitors & advocates of 'corrupt judges,' a book i read when my head was still correct. Its titled 'Natural Justice,' written by Ken Binmore. The book created basis for whats called "science of morals."

The author, a mathematician with deep interest in philosophy, used game theory as a systematic tool for investigating ethical matters. He hinged natural justice of 'duty to act' on evolutionary rational decision-making, where empathy for one another may exist between individuals.

By suspending Onnoghen, Buhari has moved the 'pawn' piece to the end of the chess board, and has replaced it with a 'queen.' In law, 'if its not stated, it can't be inferred.' If its not stated that the president cant 'suspend' the CJN, then it cant be inferred that Buhari cant.

Jonathan followed same route to remove Sanusi, then a CBN Governor. The poetic justice in Onnoghen's travail is the fact that CCT acquired an unappealable jurisdiction, precedent on a judgement Onnoghen gave, upon which an order for an 'administrative action' was issued. Smart!

Trailer drivers driving against traffic on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, is akin to Onnoghen's case, a problem our constitution didnt envisage - so to say. It doesn't look like there's a law governing their actions. Its unheard that a truck driver was jailed for causing loss of lives.

On my way to Lagos from a journey yesterday, i arrived somewhere before Ogere and i saw a logjam of trailers, head to head, on the lane going to Ibadan. Not long after, i started seeing trailers heading in d direction of Ibadan at top speed, on my lane in the direction to Lagos.

Vehicles facing Lagos manoeuvre off from the asphalt into the bush each time we sight these trucks on dare-devil approach. Tanker drivers caused dents on people's cars, with threats to beat up such car owners. We finally arrived at a hold-up, where i spent about 2hrs, until 9pm.

Trouble started when a Dangote Cement branded truck ripped off a lady's car bumper, with its tyres. The female motorist got off with two other females, demanding that the truck driver should come down to see the damaged he has caused. He got of from his truck and a fight ensued.

These ladies dresses were torn. Their bags thrown into the bush. The trailer drivers even pulled daggers. We scampered to get them to safety. Some people were asking the women to charge the drivers to court for assault, in the bush, at about 9pm. T'was like referring CJN to NJC.

It was poetic justice when soldiers clearing way for their own movement arrived. Merely sighting d battered women amongst many men, slap that can break neck started flying. Circled by these soldiers, i was afraid these drivers would die from gun butt they received on their chest.

These drivers raised N100,000 from nowhere, with the soldiers insisting the torn dresses must be paid for too. Long & short, the assaulted women left with N150,000. Isn't this unlawful? Many of us left d place agreeing, sometimes, we need to help the law, where d law is helpless.
