A faculty member has been asking how to stop Zoom from removing his head when he uses a virtual background. We suggested the usual plain background, good lighting etc, but it didn't work. I was in a meeting with him today when I realized why it was happening.
Also from @DrBonnieHenry’s deck...the vast majority of cases in BC are in folks under age 60. Few in the youngest, but teachers are in this too, many between 20-40yo. Seems they are being asked to risk most.
Also concerning is that R is trending up. Likely another spike this weekend, then into widespread increased contacts due to school.
I was going to get all defensive with some of the shade being sent my way, but no...here's why.
Juno (sp?) is my nephew's dog. 'C' is one of 3 boys born in our extended family in 2008 and those 3 cousins have been pretty tight even though they live several hours apart. My son, Isaac, is the middle of the three.
I’ve been shaving my head for several years, knowing that genetics and time are causing my hair to leave me for a younger man. I do not feel that I should try to fight this process or worry about it in the least.
For the last several weeks of socially distant work and play, I have decided that this would be an ideal time to see how things have actually changed up there.
