WINNING PRODUCT THREAD

The other day I found a product that's doing 100s of orders per day

In this thread I'm gonna break down what it is, how I found it, why it's good, and actionable steps I'd take to start making $$ with it now

The way I found this product was doing a random search on Facebook for the popular call-to-action

"Get Yours Now"

The product is a portable epilator (glorified eyebrow trimmer) and from the looks of it someone blew it up very RECENTLY (this is key)

The reason it's key is, when only 1 or 2 stores have "blown a product up" (i.e. when an ad has 100s of thousands/millions of views) and it's RECENT (as in the last month or two), that's a VERY good indication the product has the most important thing ever:

CURRENT demand

This product in particular seems solid because:

(1) It solves a problem
(2) Problem is a HUGE insecurity
(3) Easy to demonstrate its use
(4) Large target audience
(5) Lots of potential to niche down

Now let's make sure we can actually source this product from AliExpress before going further

Turns out, we can!

There's plenty of suppliers for this product

If we filter the results in AliExpress to sort by orders, we notice that the top listing has upwards of 29,000 orders

This is not ideal, because it means A LOT of potential customers have already bought

But, not the end of the road

From here, we can look at existing stores selling this product successfully and study what they're doing and why it works

Here's the one from Facebook:

Using the SimilarWeb Chrome extension, we can see roughly how much website traffic this store is getting

Looks to be about 50k visitors per month (this is an estimate, not exact by any means)

Next, I'd go look at their Facebook page, scroll down to 'Page Transparency' and click 'See More'

Then I'd click 'View in Ads Library' to see all their active ads (unfortunately this page doesn't seem to be running any ads, a bit fishy, makes me think they're using another page)

Next I'd search for this product and similar ones on Amazon and read through a BUNCH of the reviews to gain a really solid understanding of the people who buy this product

-Who they are
-What they're into
-What drives them to make buying decisions
-Etc.

I'd then use this info to come up with an enticing new marketing angle, a more specific audience to target, or both

(Copying the store above straight away is unlikely to work, need to have something new/unique to set us apart)

Finally, I'd get a store up on Shopify (wouldn't take more than a few hours), make some ads, and start running traffic to the store using the Facebook ad campaign set up outlined in the M13;S01 video here: blueoceanecommerce.com/boss-builder#r…

I'd wait a few days, look at the results, and then test and tweak one big thing (offer, audience, angle, ads, etc.) at a time until something started working
