A slip up by the lawyers for the company confirm that, yes, the company is actually a bank.
It's not Alfa or Deutsche, people.
Thanks Judge
Govt confirms that this case started with DC prosecutors and then was transferred to Mueller. Thus, the investigation pre-dates Mueller.
Govt wanted to increase daily fines to $300,000
In March 2019, govt says that their records don't match with the records provided by the mystery bank
Judge gets testy with the govt prosecutor
In April the govt withdrew its request to increase the fines
So the govt had some sort of concerns that the bank wasn't fully producing docs and/or statements. In April 2019 the govt said that they continued to have grave concerns but withdrew its request to increase the fines because the bank did these 4 things
Those are the main things that stood out to me on a quick skim. If you found this kind of work interesting, consider supporting @forensicnewsnetpatreon.com/forensicnews
The bank is not:
-Alfa Bank
-Deutsche Bank
-ADCB
-Bank of Cyprus
-VTB

Let's back up for a second. As of just a few weeks ago, NSO Group said that Pegasus *physically* couldn't operate on Israeli phone numbers. That massive lie is confirmed by this investigation and it is being buried. BUT
How much can we trust the Israeli investigation of their own use of Pegasus? There are obvious conflicts.

Apple's discovery wishlist is... 👀
"NSO’s contacts with U.S.-based clients and potential clients" is particularly interesting. Apple is on the record saying NSO had U.S. clients now... Are they referring to FBI, which, by all accounts, didn't actually deploy anything?
I filed a FOIA request in 2020 seeking "All email correspondence with the keywords "Westbridge Technologies", or "NSO Group" including attachments, from 1st January 2015..."
NYPD said they were "unable to locate records responsive to your request."
Here's their response: "In regard to the document(s) which you requested, this unit is unable to locate records responsive to your request based on the information you provided." a860-openrecords.nyc.gov/request/view/F…
