An Irish delegation is at the Centenary International Labour Conference in Geneva, marking 100 years since the founding of the @ilo

This gathers representatives of 187 countries to develop international Labour Standards & policies to promote decent work & social justice #ILO100 Image
Ireland joined the @ilo in 1923 ⁠— the first international organisation which the new State joined.

Waterford native Edward Phelan was the ILO's first official. Dr. Amina Adanan shares her experience as one of the recipients of the NUI EJ Phelan Fellowship. #ILO100

A new €5.5m #COVID19 Online Retail Scheme is being launched by Minister @Damien_English.

Administered by @Entirl, this will support retail businesses in enhancing their digital capacity, drive online sales and grow their customer base.

This forms part of the #JobsStimulus
The #COVID19 Online Retail Scheme is targeted at indigenous retailers with a pre-existing online presence.

This fund will accelerate their online offerings to respond to both domestic and international consumer demand.

#JobsStimulus
Grants from the #COVID19 Online Retail Scheme range from €10k to €40k, covering up to 80% of project costs.

This can be used to fund fees for service providers, develop and implement a digital strategy, and enhance the retailer’s website. #JobsStimulus

Tánaiste @LeoVaradkar, Minister @mmcgrathtd and Minister @cathmartingreen have announced a package of measures for businesses in Kildare, Laois and Offaly, who have been adversely impacted by renewed #COVID19 restrictions. Image
The package includes:

➡️Topped up Restart Grant - Eligible businesses will now be entitled to a 20% top up
➡️Prioritised Applications - €1m ringfenced for @Loc_Enterprise Offices to help businesses in the three counties
➡️€1m promotional campaign from @Failte_Ireland

34 diverse projects have successfully secured funding from this year’s call under the Public Service Innovation Fund.

A total of 364 project proposals were received from organisations in all sectors of the Public Service - an increase of 168% in applications over the 2019 pilot. Image

The results of a survey on Irish SMEs sentiment towards Brexit impact & preparedness has been published by Ministers @HHumphreysFG and @PatBreen1.

Of SMEs surveyed, half experienced a #Brexit-related impact in the past year with 72% expecting one even with an orderly withdrawal. Image
