VIOLENT ATTACK: A woman was sucker punched Sunday night in the Ankeny Alley near Voodoo. The 44-year-old has a broken right eye socket, “I’m just happy to be alive and to have my eyesight” she tells me #KOIN6News
25-year-old Daniel Bertrand was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault in this unprovoked attack. He’s now back out on the streets and a lot of people down here are very upset about that #KOIN6News ImageImage
As for that woman, she says she had an “outer body experience” and thankfully won’t have to undergo reconstructive surgery to that eye. She also feels scared knowing Bertrand is out of jail #KOIN6News
UPDATE: Bertrand was arrested in Washington Co. today for trespassing. Two days before that violent beating he was arrested in Gresham for trespassing. This latest arrest is at least his 9th trespassing charge this year - some have been dropped, others he plead guilty #KOIN6News Image

Stabbing investigation has shut down 4th Ave between Battery and Vine, @SeattlePD working to find the attacker. This happened at an apartment building, officers seen coming out of Centennial Tower and Court Apartments #KOMONews ImageImageImage
UPDATE: @SeattlePD reports two people have life-threatening injuries stemming from this, suspect barricaded in an apartment. Police also saying “some evacuations in the building” #KOMONews

We’ve made it to Portland where the skyline is barely visible from the east side of the Willamette, the air quality here tonight is “hazardous.” With the fires burning in Oregon, upwards of 500,000 people have had to evacuate their homes. That’s 10% of the state’s pop #KOMONews

A look at opposing rallies in Shelton this afternoon. On one side, a “Back the Blue” crowd. On the other, Black Lives Matter. Plenty of police, open carry and chanting going on. BLM supporters have marched to the Mason Co Juvenile Detention Center #KOMONews
Police breakup a group of people getting chippy. Haven’t seen any violence so far. I did speak with one woman with the BLM group who’s from Shelton. She says she’s disappointed to see the “racism” in the place she grew up #KOMONews

NEW: The arrest warrant affidavit, as well as the search warrant for Michael Reinoehl has been unsealed. He was to be charged with Second Degree Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Documents also go over timeline of Aug. 29th shooting in Portland #KOMONews Image
Surveillance footage shows Reinoehl, in the white shirt, walking ahead of Danielson and then inside a parking garage. Detectives say the shooting happened shortly after this but wasn't caught on this camera #KOMONews ImageImage
Per court docs, one spent .380 casing was found nearby as well as a can of 'Bear Attack Deterrent' near Danielson's body. A handgun was on Danielson's waistband, loaded with 19 rounds. Three additional and fully-loaded magazines were found in the pockets of his shorts #KOMONews
