So slick talking John Banks has more political ambitions & Kim Hill actually gave him a thumbs up on radio?🙄😏

How often do I have to point out the utter inappropriateness of those in the media demonstrating political bias. It undermines trust in the media?🤨

#AQuestionOfTrust
Don’t forget, it’s due to the likes of John Banks that Auckland has been cursed with it’s completely big money focused “Supercity Council” with it’s autonomous out of control Auckland Transport entity - which ignores the public with impunity.
Why didn’t Kim Hill (normally a pretty thorough interviewer) confront John Banks with the hypocrisy of him supporting the SuperCity and AT and now making slick sounding promises of fixing them?

How? Does he plan to privatise AT, and inevitably, ultimately make it far far worse?
John Banks was a member of the ACT party, supported the National Party - and is very likely one of NZ’s politicians most geared toward corporate interests.

So if anyone thinks Banks goal is to improve AT for users - vs to improve profit for private profiteers, think again.
