China and Hong Kong are big news stories and growing fast. It's several stories at the same time. China's economy, Hong Kong freedom, and a U.S./China trade war.
All of a sudden, lots of news. Why? For the first time in a long time, China is having trouble pushing around America
You can say my thesis here is oversimplified. And it very well might be. It's Twitter after all and we don't have much space to write. Yet the general concept is correct.
I've been studying U.S./China politics for some time. Had my introduction to Asian politics while serving
as a board member of the U.S./Philippines Society in Washington, D.C., from 2013-2017. Many retired U.S. diplomats who formerly served in Asia were on that board. It was an interesting experience, learned a lot from them.
Among other sources, I subscribe to numerous commercial
news feeds and have access to satellite downlink video that often keeps me up late at night watching world events.
The news coming out of Asian sources paints a picture of a China that is used to getting it's way and all of a sudden is in utter shock
as Trump is standing up to them for the first time in the history of several U.S. Presidential administrations.
All of a sudden we are in uncharted territory with U.S./China relations, folks. Keep an eye on the region. I believe the news will soon be taking center stage.

To my followers, please say hello to Craig Harris, @charrisazrep of the Arizona Republic @azcentral newspaper
Craig decided to follow me today on Twitter, two years after I first sued his him for writing a totally false #HitPiece news article about me. (continued in this thread)
So here's a few questions for my followers. Why do you think this nice journalist decided to follow me today? Is it because:
1 - Dennis K. Burke, the disgraced former prosecutor from the Obama administration is back in the news because of the #FastNFurious scandal? (cont'd)
Those involved, knows the Dec. 14th article Harris wrote in the Arizona Republic newspaper, in coordination with disgraced prosecutor Dennis K. Burke, was written with the intent to retaliate against me, and to conceal Burke's involvement in the #NXIVM cult case out of New York.
Do you people really expect to attract supporters this way?
Your "brute force" approach is why I checked out early on. Your people were pounding on me with a sledgehammer from the first time I interacted with them.
It's not "made up." Nothing but negativity from PPC supporters, always. That's why I checked out a long time ago. (screenshot attached)
@Conspiracydamco @seksanoreksik@BKenni@AndrewScheer@peoplespca Here's another one. These are insults. Read my Twitter account, it has thousands of dissenting posts against the U.S. democratic party, supporting Trump, over the past year. Yet this person calls me a "swamp creature?" It's just wrong. The whole attitude is completely wrong.
LAWSUIT UPDATE -- COMPLETE VICTORY AGAINST THE #ArizonaMafia's RETALIATORY LEGAL ATTACK ON ME. Some of my friends and family, particularly those who followed my former career in Arizona, may recall I had been involved in a civil litigation lawsuit with former business partners.
This update is to confirm that this most recent legal attack -- and it was a bad one -- has recently been completely dismissed, with prejudice, by the Arizona court. (See screenshot at the end of this thread) With this awful chapter behind us, there are some lessons here.
First of all, it was the third time I have been attacked with an extortion-style civil business lawsuit by a former business partner. This time the attacker was none other than former (disgraced) United States Attorney Dennis K. Burke, a corrupt lawyer who was previously fined
Ok, this is completely crazy, but it is a real story..trending in #Mexico
The former President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, currently outside of his country while under investigation for corruption and money laundering, has been spotted in New York, wearing a disguise
Enrique Peña Nieto and his friend Tania Ruiz were spotted at a restaurant in New York. They were seen dining Asian cuisine and enjoying wine, while wearing "discreet costumes" to avoid recognition by the press.
The stories about former Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto seem to be getting stranger every week.
I can't tell you what's really going on here. I have no idea. But apparently, that's him. I'm quoting the Mexican press here. There's many articles about it today.
Today, my one-time former boss, frmr Obama DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, & leader of the infamous #ArizonaMafia, announced she's stepping down as President of the Univ. of California system next year
