The neural net does a very creditable attempt of rolling with it, considering none of the dungeon crawling games it was trained on had included this particular scenario

Present it with a reality that seems plausible to it, and it'll often work. I once got rid of a marauding ogre by reminding it that it was going to be leaving for Antarctica tomorrow.

The AI apparently really likes it when you ask nicely. “Sure, whatever you like, just happy there are politeness formulas to rely upon!”
By typing your own story intro, you can be anything - Jedi, starship captain, hogwarts student, unicorn, glowing cloud - but the neural net in AI Dungeon 2 is more used to humanoid characters so it forgot I was a goose and things got awkward
