One of the vital services provided at the Sackville Memorial Hospital is the Emergency Room. To think that the government might close it for almost half of the day, every day, is absolutely unacceptable. Our hospital doesn’t just serve people in Sackville.
Our hospital serves the neighbouring and rural communities across the riding of Memramcook-Tantramar. This is not the first time that our community has had to fight to maintain our hospital and its services. I will continue to fight with you.
An official announcement has not yet been released from the government, but there are rumours that 6 hospitals in NB, including the Sackville Memorial Hospital, will be losing their Emergency Room services from 10pm - 8am.
L'un des services essentiels de l'Hôpital mémorial de Sackville est la salle d'urgence. C'est absolument inacceptable de penser que le gouvernement pourrait le fermer pendant presque la moitié de la journée, tous les jours.
L'hôpital fournit les services aux gens des collectivités voisines et rurales de toute la circonscription de Memramcook-Tantramar. Ce n'est pas la première fois que notre communauté doit se battre pour maintenir notre hôpital et ses services. Je continuerai à me battre avec vous.
Le gouvernement n'a pas encore fait d'annonce officielle, mais il y a des rumeurs selon lesquelles six hôpitaux du Nouveau-Brunswick, dont l'Hôpital mémorial de Sackville, vont perdre leurs services d'urgence de 22h à 8 h.
