PROTECT YOURSELF FROM INFECTION with #coronavirus #COVID19

No matter where you live, there are probably asymptomatic carriers of the disease around you.

• Protect yourself.
• Protect your family.
• Protect your community.

Follow these steps to reduce the contagion risk.
I am sending this now because by the time the “authorities” get it together, it will be too late. And they will do it incompetently anyway.

It already is too late, and containment is unlikely.

#COVID19 is 4-5x more virulent than the flu, with up to 300x the death rate.
1. PREPARE YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINK.

No restaurants, no bars, no cafeterias, no street vendors.

Nothing that you didn’t prepare yourself or wasn’t packaged months ago.

Wash any fruit and vegetables you buy thoroughly.
If you eat at work, pack a lunch.

If you let your kids go to school, pack theirs.

WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU TOUCH YOUR FOOD.

There have been multiple cases of people getting infected in a food situation. It’s the easiest infection path you can shut closed right now.
2. Wash your hands immediately after getting into work or home.

Use soaps and sanitizers profusely.

The coronavirus can survive up to 9 days on surfaces; the flu can barely manage 2.
3. Make a plan RIGHT NOW to reduce your contact with other people to a minimum.

What does this mean?

Avoid being in public unless it’s absolutely necessary.

For example, instead of buying groceries every other day, do them once a week.
Only essential outings and interactions with outsiders – work, shopping, going to the doctor if you have symptoms.

No gyms, cinemas, malls, stadiums and the like.

They are breeding grounds for infection.

Avoid large transit hubs and anywhere people congregate.
4. Purchase face kits for yourself and your family.

Surgical masks cannot protect you effectively from airborne viruses. Get a proper respirator with a filter for best protection in public.

You want the N99 military grade.

Here’s one, stylish too: amzn.to/2SNQZvA
Respirators are designed to reduce exposure to airborne contaminants.

A proper seal between the user’s face and the respirator is needed to force inhaled air to be pulled through the respirator’s filter material and not through gaps between the face and respirator.
If you get sick, you should wear a surgical mask at a minimum to prevent infecting family, coworkers or anybody else around.

You can also use a surgical mask temporarily until you get better protection.

Surgical masks are best purchased in bulk: amzn.to/31R98wo
DON’T WAIT until next week.

DON’T WAIT for more information.

When you have the “information”, there won’t be any masks to buy.
5. Wear the face mask/respirator at all times when in public.

I can’t possibly overstate how essential this is.

You should start doing it as soon as you have a mask on hand.
6. Keep away from transit and transportation hubs You should be avoiding public transit entirely.

Whenever possible walk, if the streets aren’t crowded. Otherwise drive.

With your face mask ON.

Have sanitizer on hand for visits to the refuelling station.
One more thing.

If you’re planning any trips next 6 months, get ready to cancel and try to get a refund if you can.

Odds are soon everywhere will be on lockdown, flights cancelled, services terminated.

You don’t want to be left holding the bag.
I am NOT telling you to quit your job and hunker down in your prepper shelter.

But you should take steps now to reduce risk and get ready for what’s ALREADY HERE.

This is real, and it’s happening now.
By the time enough people are diagnosed for an official emergency, you may end up infected yourself.

The wuhan is extremely virulent and DEADLY. The zombies are already sloshing around and spreading it.
The mortality rate we estimate right now is 10-15% of the diagnosed. It can be much higher when all is said and done.

I will send updates and detailed data analysis to everyone on the email list as the situation evolves.

Best of luck and take care.

POWER in COMMUNICATION

To have power, you must learn to project power.

It sounds like putting the cart before the horse, but it is not.

The simplest way to project power in communication is to simplify.
You must cultivate discipline if you want to have power.

Simplicity is self-discipline.

Practice the discipline of simplicity in thought and speech.

To prepare, journal.
Make it short. Make it clear.

Then direct.

Do not suggest. DIRECT.

Do not beat around the bush. BE DIRECT.

Forget words like essentially, actually, anyway.

No adjectives and qualifiers.

No explaining.

Why do people always have to cycle through the Five Stages of Grieving?

What makes this cycle such a powerful pattern?

How do we become free from it?

THREAD

👇👇👇
1. Denial

We have constructed in our heads a narrative about how things should be. We have identified with that story and attached our ego to it.

When the story is revealed as false, we are compelled to deny the revelation in order ot assert our ego as valid.
The denial stage emphasizes the conflict between experience and expectations.

Because we have identified with the expectation story, accepting the experience would invalidate our ego.

So we invent a denial-rationalization to keep our ego circus going.

Dokkōdō, loosely translated as "The Way of Walking Alone", is the last work of Miyamoto Musashi.

He composed it on occasion of giving away his possessions in preparation for death in 1645.
Musashi dedicated the 21 principles of Dokkōdō as a last gift to his favorite student – an ultimate Integration of Zen and the Way of the Warrior.

The title itself is suggestive like a Zen koan. It hints that the path of Liberation is one you can tread only on your own.
1. Accept everything just the way it is.

Acceptance does not mean giving up and rolling over in a ditch. It asks us to meet everything without attaching and identifying – without aversion or clinging.

Acceptance is the annihilation of suffering.

108 principles for Authentic Life

– What is Authenticity?
– How do we cultivate Authenticity?
– How do we lead life in alignment with Authenticity?

Here’s what I’ve learnt.

/THREAD/
1. Focus your attention on Yourself: be Aware of your actions and deliberate in your choices.
2. Give everything purpose. If you can’t give it your purpose, don’t give it your energy.

3. Everything you do, do as well as possible; walk the Noble path of Excellence.

22 TIME-TESTED TECHNIQUES TO MAKE *GOOD* WRITING A CONSISTENT HABIT

What I have to share here is harsh.

Have no illusions about it.

The writing gods don’t care for prayers – they want sacrifice.
I didn’t come up with all these techniques yesterday. Many of them come from world-class writers and credit goes to them. But they all get at the same thing – conditioning your mind to produce great writing on command.

And they WORK when you DO the work.
If you’re serious about writing or your other creative work of choice, apply these techniques in combination for maximum effect. Implement them one at a time to make habituation easier, but stacking them is what will make you unstoppable.
