1. I think back at how smug they all were.
Biden.
Sanders.
The media.
Even Warren on some level.

They all said they could've and would've beat her (and him), if only (fill in toxic, highly misogynistic hypothetical here).

Easy peasy.

Clinton was messing everything up.
2. Their list of grievances was long, and they openly aired them w/o concern about how it could impact either the nominee or her campaign for the US Presidency.

She was given no room to breathe and allowed no room to err.

They even publicly pish-poshed Russian interference.
3. There was no detail too small to escape their criticism. They were the worst back seat drivers in history and it all seems so clear and ridiculous as those days recede now into history.

@HillaryClinton wasn't just bullied, she was bulldozed.
4 But now look at them.
A pathetic lot. And it's looking more & more likely that the person who will not beat Trump might just get the nomination to lead the party he hates.

And the rest of us are going to be forced to celebrate our own funeral for the sake of the Republic.
5. I never thought i would have to face the possibility of supporting a man who I honestly abhor. I thought that nightmare was over.

But here we are.

I am questioning everything now as I'm sure all of us are.

But I do know this:

Trump is the end all and be all of nightmares.
6. I questioned the sanity of those arrogant fucks in 2016 who did so much damage to Clinton by "supporting" her with their noses held and their lips flapping into the cold political winds.

I despised them. I cajoled them. I was embarrassed for them.
7. But now, as irony looms, I am afraid I might have to become them. As the feeling of being "had" seems to settle over this entire question I find myself less and less able to accept the stupidity.

Watching the worst Republicans hop on the Sanders train is even more galling.
