If one were short, should have booked out here when the lower line was touched or close to that! Image
Time to go long now in Dow Jones! doji was a sign to go long! Image
See how the parallel channel was respected and how the Doji formed on a 5 min candle giving signs of reversal? Now the stop should be the low point in that Doji! Image

Ok, Dow Jones is not looking good at all now! It is breaking the trendline/parallel channel and going down! Flag and pole pattern breakdown. Needs to close at least above 25330 to prevent any breakdown! Long only above 25370 again! Image
What a reversal! heading to 25780-800 again which is the horizontal level resistance after breakout! Image
25800 - Bulls not giving up whatsoever! Tough fight! heading to close the gap! Image

- In Dow Theory, a trend is assumed to persist until there is evidence to the contrary

- Trend changes are identified by a penetration of a previous significant High or Low

- In short, it is a momentum indicator
- Above 100, indicates bullishness
- Below -100, indicates bearishness

- If a stock has moved up already for the last few days
- If a stock is up more than 10% already from breakout zone

- above breakout zones (no entry in no-man land)
- above a key resistance zone after a stock consolidates
- 1-2% above resistance zone
