COVID-19 is contagious a few days BEFORE you get symptoms. So by the time you know you have the virus, it could've already hopped to someone else.

The solution:

Self-isolate if you *or a close recent contact* knows they're infected!

Finally, as a digital rights advocate who open sources (public domain) all their code+art:

🕵️‍♀️Contact tracing CAN and SHOULD be done in a privacy-preserving way.

Client-side crypto ain't that hard. We just need to demand both our health AND privacy are protected.
