Hopefully providing this blanket will help convince my co-worker that it is not ok to walk all over my desk and sit on my computer. Image
Operation distracting Co-Worker has been a roaring success! Image
Dammit. I leave for a snack and come back to this. Jerk.
Other co-worker is feeling entitled to some food.
I’m learning the patterns of my co-workers. #MorningDexterIsBestDexter Image
#day16 and still no evidence that my coworkers are doing any work. Image

A faculty member has been asking how to stop Zoom from removing his head when he uses a virtual background. We suggested the usual plain background, good lighting etc, but it didn't work. I was in a meeting with him today when I realized why it was happening.

#bced #bcpoli @jjhorgan @bctf @Rob_Fleming @RichmondSD38 @Hamiltonsd38 please read this thread and subthreads. Or even just the first. Schools can only reopen safely if community transmission is very low. @_valeriei @jodyvance
Also from @DrBonnieHenry’s deck...the vast majority of cases in BC are in folks under age 60. Few in the youngest, but teachers are in this too, many between 20-40yo. Seems they are being asked to risk most. Image

I’ve been shaving my head for several years, knowing that genetics and time are causing my hair to leave me for a younger man. I do not feel that I should try to fight this process or worry about it in the least.

Hey fellow non-Indigenous people. #OrangeShirtDay is really hard for a lot of Indigenous folks. We need to start educating ourselves and those around us. One place to start is the recommendations of the TRC...your should read it. nctr.ca/assets/reports…
You can also subscribe to a boatload of great podcasts like cbc.ca/radio/findingc… cbc.ca/radio/podcasts… recodingrelations.org #InternationalPodcastDay
And while your are reading the TRC Recommendations, I will spell-check my tweets.
