MegaMorons ( @POTUS @RudyGiuliani @FoxNews) still promoting drug with NO proof it prevents COVID-19. They're TOO DAMN STUPID to get that anecdotal research showing a decrease in viral load in a handful of people WITH SEVERE INFECTION does NOT even SUGGEST it can prevent infection
...the ONLY use it could offer if the research proves the hypothesis (hint: It won't. Too much data showing it doesnt work) would be for the already-hospitalized, prescribed by a MD. These scum are causing a national shortage with their idiocy of a drug folks with Lupus etc need.
...AND please not: there is no hypothesis that it can PREVENT - just that it might decrease viral load of severely ill. There is no biological logic to the idea that an immunosuppressant (which is what the drug is) will make someone MORE immune to a virus.

I can't fully express the horror I feel - and everyone else should - about @larry_kudlow and apparently other conservatives saying "no one could have known about COVID-19 exponential growth."

First, it points out reporters arent consulting experts about basic virology. How.../1
...can reporters hope to ask questions on the greatest public health threat in a century without speaking to experts? The ide that @larry_kudlow could make this statement without being slammed to the wall with questions of disbelief is astonishing to me.

Since @larry_kudlow is too stupid to look up basic info about pandemics/epidemics - & thus says "nobody could have predicted" COVID-19 would have an exponential rise - thus *proving* Trump Admin is not consulting even mildly qualified experts, let's explain to him.../1
...the exponential rise, @larry_kudlow was proven to be coming on Jan 23 (day after Trump said "we have it totally under control” and the day before he said "“It will all work out well.”)

The key to knowing it is from calculating Basic reproduction number of a virus..../2

Questions @whpresscorps must ask when Trump touts hydroxychloroquine like its cough drops:

1. What dosage should people take?
2. How long should people take it?
3. What studies are you relying on for dosage and time?
3. Are you saying this is prophylactic or post-diagnosis?../1
...(while he wont know what the last question means, if he says anything close to prophylactic)
5. How does hydroxychloroquine prevent viral infection?
6. Since hydroxychloroquine is an immunosuppressant, how isnt there a risk that it will *increase* the risk of infection?.../2
...7. What studies have you reviewed showing it has a preventative effect, because I can't find any. (they dont exist.)
