Last night, Schumer called COS Mark Meadows & asked him to have Trump fully invoke the DPA & to appoint a czar to oversee every aspect of making & distributing equipment-bc it's being diverted. He's been trying to get Trump to do so for a week & he's being ignored.
2-He gave Meadows a list of names to lead DPA efforts: Adm. Sandy Winnefeld, fmr vice chair of Joint Chiefs who ran the U.S. Northern Command, & Vice Adm. Mark Harnitcheck, who ran the Defense Logistics Agency.
3-Trump has said he has 'a military man' running the DPA (Adm. John Polowczyk, fmr Joint Staff planner now working with FEMA) but Trump has not fully empowered him. We'll see if Meadows has ANY power at all now... #MondayMorning
