But that means including projected production falls (rather than outright cuts) from private sector operations, based on reductions largely already announced to capital expenditure etc.

As we reported two days ago, part of the plan is for net importing countries to contribute by buying up oil for strategic reserves... though outside US emergency stocks often managed by private sector and held as products rather than crude. Plan is to ask them to buy both. #OOTT
France noticeably absent from the list though - as I understand it - we should know by this evening. #OOTT
