I don’t trust Republicans in a vote by mail election *at all*. I know many people in FL who requested vote-by-mail, didn’t receive a ballot or got it late and weren’t able to vote. This aspect of voter suppression has been completely ignored, we have no idea how widespread it is.
2018:
If its unsafe to go out and vote in November, then we will need to change how vote-by-mail is conducted. Republicans should not be able to control this process in key states where they have an interest in cheating and can easily do so. Need bipartisan or nonpartisan commissions.
Need full transparency with real time tracking of every ballot requested, when those ballots are mailed and whether they’re returned, with regular reporting and action to correct of any issues with groups that are not receiving their ballots in time.
