Op-Ed by Asst US Attorney General Eric Dreiband about how the DOJ is protecting civil rights during the virus pandemic.

“There is no pandemic exception for religious freedom protections, except for in limited circumstances.”
He said it IS legal for government to limit gatherings in order to protect health and safety, BUT government CANNOT impose special restrictions on religious gatherings without also doing the same for non-religious gatherings. Restrictions have to be the same across the board.
AG Barr is also keeping tabs on government restrictions on religious services, also noting that religious orgs cannot be singled out. And....

"Expect action from DOJ next week."
