Feedback so far: Those who spy on others via email, and those who sell the tools to do so, think this is a bad idea. Those who know they’ve been spied upon think it’s a good idea.
I swear I didn’t know this when I quote-tweeted Andy, but I should have guessed it: he falls in that first camp. Sells “sneaky powerful” CRM tool with spy-pixel email features 😂 
That’s what I keep finding over and over again. People who make a living through spy pixels are very keen to keep this just a “discussion”, assume that everyone spying is really pure at heart. Defenses are “preachy”. Ugh.
