But various state govt through their respective Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Acts have financial & management control of Hindu temples

Approx 5000 murtis stolen from temples in India, are decorating gardens in US, Europe

These deities who we worship should be in our temples. They get stolen because of apathy and worse, active connivance of govt officials with art smugglers

The previous govt deliberately looted our temples

Many Hindu organizations ran campaigns to free our temples from govt's clutches. But in the end, anything has to be done by legislation & laws

The english calendar we use is called as Gregorian Calendar. it is named after Pope Gregory XIII who introduced it

The Roman Calendar which was used earlier had infact just 10 months with only 304 days

But our Hindu calendar has 12 months with starting month as Chaitra

Hindu calendar is so accurate that it can tell you the time of lunar eclipse that would happen 1000 years from now. Hence the real new year starts from Chaitra

The specialty of Hindu New Year is that it starts with the sunrise whereas the english New Year starts at mid-night

In India the “forehead dot” is called Bindi. In Egypt, it was called Aten, the sun symbol

The Egyptian “forehead dot” signifies the same Third Eye concept as the Hindu “forehead dot”

The Aten is thus a symbol of both the “Third Eye” and the “Soul Within” @LostTemple7
