Watch how quickly Republicans pivot from labeling vote-by-mail “fraud” to using vote-by-mail to commit fraud and cheat in the election.
They’ll send ballots to their own voters while ballots to people of color and young people mysteriously don’t end up arriving in time to vote.
Republicans already tried to rig vote-by-mail in North Carolina and they’ll try to do it again in places like FL, GA and other key Republican-controlled states with a history of voter suppression. gq.com/story/north-ca…
If we’re going to push for vote-by-mail, which might be the only way for people to be able to vote in the context of a pandemic, then there have to be strict controls against these Republican tactics. We can’t pretend they won’t try to cheat when we know they’ve done it before.
