Spain is in day 31 of a lockdown. They are still losing 10 times more people per day from Corona than the day that the lockdown started.

We were told 14 days are enough to suppress it.

Maybe too much distance (no family that is)at hospitals between patient and family is a mess.

Maybe, just maybe, cutting hospital staff under the assumption that everyone (literally everyone) has Corona and/or anyone with Corona will easly infect everyone else and 3% of all those will die, is contributing to the death due to lack of care. Just maybe.

I mean, we are told that deaths run 2-3 weeks behind infection. Ok, so Spain losing 600 people today (10 times worse than pre-lockdown which started March 14) is based on activity of March 25 through April 1st. Maybe breathing the same stuffy air for weeks is not good. Maybe.

14 days are enough to suppress Coronavirus. Right?

Corona deaths run 2-3 weeks behind infection. Right?

Cool.

Spain is still losing a day (31 days into lockdown) 550+ people which is 10 times worse than pre-lockdown.

Oh and they tested a larger portion than the US.

Spain/Italy show you that some of the Corona buzzwords do not add up:

Testing is the savior.

14 days is enough to suppress the issue.

Deaths run 2-3 weeks behind infection so you need to look back to 2-3 weeks.

Italy is shut since March 8th. At the time the few day average Corona deaths was 60. The current average (current as in FORTY DAYS into a lockdown) is close to 600. The distancing mentality is influencing hospital protocol. + Sitting at home for weeks isn’t good for the lungs.
