In 2018, I wrote Abrams was the most inspirational candidate of the midterms. Anyone claiming she's not qualified is not looking at her resume or her amazing energy.

While I might have a different fave for VP, I love that Abrams is campaigning for the post--she's managed to get more press for Biden than Biden has, which is itself a selling point.

This asks us to commisserate with someone who used their 2016 platform to undermine the 1st woman nominee in US history. Hillary said she stood between us and the Apocalypse. Some of us reported who/what Trump was. Others had the privilege to ignore that AND the past 3+yrs. Sigh.
I warned about Trump in a couple hundred articles from Dec 2014 through a week before the election. This is what the white male pseudo-left pundit class was claiming: that Trump was left of Hillary. Incredible, really.
How do people pretend this didn't happen? Plus, has everyone forgotten how many of the male pundits who hammered Hillary were fired in #MeToo scandals? The ease with which structural misogyny is dismissed is stunning. The first woman in 240yrs. But sure.

I know we have many foci these days, with #COVID19 stalking us. But just as the virus disproportionately impacts BIPOC and poor people, so does environmental racism.
