Excellent news on the #Covid front today, my estimates of the reproduction factor R is going down sharply almost everywhere. I believe that this is due to new testing patterns "catching up" in the data so R estimates getting closer to the real values. Here's a sample of countries
Significant drop in the UK, even if remains above 1
France going significantly down too
Finally a bit of progress in Italy after a long stability period
Germany still doing well
An important milestone: the US finally hit 1: the epidemic is stable now!
The only bad news of the day, very poor recent numbers in Spain, after a lot of progress over the last couple of weeks
You might be surprised, but I also monitor China because of the "2nd wave" risk post lockdown, and that's what it looks like. No real risk there (usual health warnings about quality of the data apply)
