Some of the world’s brightest people are struggling with the tension between shutting down economies and protecting people’s health during these times. Let’s not make a simple thing complex. If you have a simple answer, stop shouting Singapore daily. Come out, let’s vote for you.
The average Nigerian needs petrol to power his generator and considers “cheap”
petrol to be his only benefit as a Nigerian. How do you manage the tension between subsidy removal and rising costs? In Nigeria o, not in tiny city states like Singapore & Dubai, created by autocrats?
What about the tension between merit and representation in a diverse multi-ethnic society birthed in the labour room of mutual distrust? I mean within a democracy, not the maximum rulership that birthed Dubai and Singapore. You think it’s about hiding in the dark to throw stones?
How do you deal with the tension between population control and religious and cultural beliefs that promote procreation, in a democracy? Not in China o. What about the tension between cheap imports & local production when you have porous borders? It’s easy ba? I’m done with this.
Madam has just introduced me to the Netflix series ‘Designated Survivor’, a reminder that I lived through the 9/11 attacks while working at the centre of the UK govt. Seeing leaders vomit because of the decisions they have to make. And I am here arguing with faceless trolls? Smh!
A reminder that I personally compiled and edited the handover notes from Jonathan to Buhari, and that I have worked DIRECTLY with two Presidents and 3 Prime Ministers and advised several around the world. I need to advise myself better with regards to these faceless trolls. ✌🏽
Oh, apart from 30 years’ governance experience, I teach Governance and Public Policy Analysis to PhD fellows in one of the world’s top universities. Somebody will be copying the internet, shouting Singapore & Dubai & I will be dignifying them with responses. Someone slap me abeg.
Below is my letter of commendation from the Federal Government for my service to Nigeria. It says that my dedication, commitment and loyalty will remain indelible in Nigeria’s history. Post yours let’s see. Good morning and goodbye.
