I understand that the death rate from covid-19 for young (say <50) is quite low.

But do we have any data on whether the infection is also milder for the young? In terms of symptoms, is covid-19 median suffering for the young more or less similar to the flu?
The reason I asked this question is because many people are arguing letting young people out of the lockdown to achieve “herd immunity”.

Everyone is talking about low death rates for the young but nobody is taking about suffering.
