My #EarthDay award goes to Yosemite National Park.

Yosemite gave me some of my favorite memories. It's where I learned to swim and ride a bike. It's the first place I ever did a backpacking trip and fell in love with the majesty of the mountains.
In 2015, I hiked to the top of North Dome in the freezing cold. It's famous for being one of the best views in the entire park and I neeeeeeeeeeded to see it.

This will forever be one of my favorite photos.

Notes from my writing workshop with @shl.

1. Why should you write?

Writing allows you to think through ideas before you share them in front of anyone else. The best idea doesn’t win over the board room table, the best constructed or loudest argument wins.
2. Every remote worker is a writer.

Write for an audience that's smart and busy. Don't waste people's time. In remote work, everybody writes so you should learn to write well. Putting your thoughts on paper will improve your ideas, and more people will want to work with you.
3. The paradox of specificity.

On the Internet, the narrower your brand, the more people will find you. Specializing creates more opportunities in the long-term. As you pursue specificity, you expand what you can do.

I've been leading a team of 8 writers.

As part of the Write of Passage Fellowship, each person wrote a 10,000-word essay on a topic of their choice. Together, we wrote 80,000 words — the equivalent of a book — in just three months.

Somebody’s going to build a health & fitness bundle.

It would quantify diet, sleep and fitness. It’d have a central software dashboard with personalized recommendations, a trainer to help me with them, and friends to improve my health with.

Business model: Monthly subscription.
I want to feel like a professional athlete.

I want to obsess over the science and train like I’m playing in the Super Bowl. But right now, I’m spending too much time researching health and nutrition. Add friends and brilliant coaches, and you have a product I’ll pay for.
The success of @PeterAttiaMD and @foundmyfitness tells me there’s demand for a product.

But there’s a hole in the market. There’s a big gap between practical (but superficial) articles and the cutting-edge ideas that Peter Attia and Rhonda Patrick share.

That’s the opportunity.
