@DrJayDrNo I have recently come into possession of a wealth of genealogical materials. One is a letter my great grandfather wrote to my Mom sometime in the 1930s. It appears to be a poem he wrote. However, I am not sure he didn't just copy it out from some other source...1/5
If you have time on your hands, would you have a look at it and see if you recognise the author? I have not deciphered all of it and my great grandfather's handwriting was not as beautiful nor as legible as that of the women in my Mom's family. 2/5
Frankly, I am not sure you will find it legible. But some bits are easier to read and they may give a clue as to its origins. Only if you are bored, and have some urge to tackle a puzzle... Anyway, here it is... 3/5
