Over a month ago I told @BorisJohnson this was happening, he promised action.
Back then tests were rationed to 5 per home. Now, a month on, it’s less than that.
Promises were made but were simply not implemented and people are dying needlessly as a result.

Carers and workers are knowingly endangering themselves by working in some care and nursing homes. They are total heroes.
I feel shame that their professionalism and ethic has not been matched in the government upon which they depend.

For thousands of social care residents it’s now to late to keep them safe. But there are hundreds of thousands more that need action now, today. It’s not too late for them, let’s make it happen
