This is wrong for several reasons, but using this logic:

Shouldn't people who support choice for abortion ("control of my own body") then also support choice for people who want the choice to go back to normal despite the potential harm to them & others (my body, my choice)?
The reality is that we make calculations that balance liberty and life on almost every issue. Setting the speed limit at 55 instead of 25 is almost guaranteed to lead to more car accidents/deaths. So is allowing driving. We have to be honest about those tradeoffs.
Then we can have an honest discussion about what measurable and which concessions must be made to save lives, and which ones aren't worth it. But the idea that no tradeoffs are allowed and we must accept any measures that would save any lives is just nonsensical.
