Time to fire up the #DavesCarIDService Enhancinator to ID some of your mystery tailfins
Fun loving Grandma and sourpuss Grandpa are in front of a 1956 Oldsmobile 88. And I'd also like to put in a plug for the ID requester's swanky Mid Century merchandise.
This Canuck duo is in front of a 1954 Chevy Bel Air. Curious what the crutches were all about.
Car is a 1941 Ford Deluxe convertible, and is sporting a 1947 Tennessee plate. State-shaped license plates are always delightful; Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Montana and a few others issued them back in the day.
Let's keep the couples theme going with amorous Gramps hugging blushing Grandma in front of a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500.
Nothing better than a young Dolly with a mile high beehive. She and Carl are ready to head out in a 1966 Chevy Impala, with AR mag wheels.
Off to Niagara Falls in a 1950 Plymouth sedan. Gotta love the "STORK!!" graffiti.
Foreign cars are not my strong suit; I am really drawing a blank here and will need an assist. Feels like an early-mid 60s Hillman or Humber, or maybe a GM make (Holden, Vauxhall, Opel) but I can't really nail it down. Cool pic tho
Never mind, I think I got this: 1962ish Austin A-60.
speaking of getting foreign car ID assists, h/t to Harry for correcting me on this Panhard, which I had mistaken last week for a Renault Dauphine.
The couples photos were fun, but it's time to catch up with some long overdue assignments. This ID tip-in is a 1957 Chevy Handyman 2 door wagon, and you really shouldn't be needing ID help on a full pic of a 1957 Chevy
Looks like Elnora is fixin' to wash out Uncle Bob's mouth with soap in front of this 1952 Plymouth
I wanna say 1924ish Ford Model T coupe due to 4 banger and running board aprons, but algae renders me less than 100% certain
That there is a waiting-to-be restored GM Futureliner. GM made only 12 of these between 1939 and 1956, to haul their Futurama/Parade of Progress concept dream cars around the USA. My friend Joe Bortz owned 3 or 4 of them at the same time.
A 1969 Camaro is a pretty easy ID. At the risk of controversy, I think it would have been cooler to restore to its original mild 6 banger or 307 base model than to make it into a SS clone.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against turning base model cars into big block drag racers, I'm just not a fan of them masquerading as Z-28s, Boss Mustangs, GTOs and the like.
Speaking of replica cars, this is one (and not a particularly good one)
Another one from the Wisconsin deeps, and almost certain it's a 1924-25 Ford Model T roadster.
Great Gramps' stern visage is in front of a 1930 Ford Model A
Sure can. Triangulating from the hood ornament & upper dash, a 1947-48 Chevy Fleetline. Also has an aftermarket Unity S-5 spotlight.
this is a toughie, but I'll give it a shot. There are at least 2 different vehicles here; cowl/ firewall/ fenders seem to be a circa 1928 Dodge "depot hack" woody wagon. Axle is from a much later Salisbury style truck differential, maybe Eaton or Dana
The 2 most prominent cars on the streets of Old San Antone here are a 1927-28 Nash touring, followed by a 1927-28 Buick sedan
Your local po-po are cruising in a 1956 Ford Mainline, hopefully with the Police Interceptor dual quad 312 Y block cop motor
The fashions, the hair, and the Ford F150 beer can recycling bin seem to all match up with 1983 or so, as does the Mazda RX-7 peeking out in the distance
eesh, photo is fuzzy but I think 1954-55 Nash Ambassador on left, 1952 Plymouth center
There you go
I believe it's a 1952 or 53 Olds tail light lens
I can zoom, but I really can't enhance. Best I can tell is a 1920 or so Chevy FB touring.
I believe my eagle-eyed automotive artist amigo Keith Weesner is correct, the taillight lens in question seems to be a 1953-54 Buick, and not the 52-53 Olds I had originally thought

Lil' Kim here is perched on the running board of a 1934 Chevy 3 window coupe.
Yeesh, I guess I'm almost caught up to April 12 with your car ID requests. Remember to use the #DavesCarIDService hashtag and please be patient. See you tomorrow for more adventures in car photo forensics.
