Seems some people jumped into the futures market to trade on insider information from the Russian government negotiations with OPEC, leading to multiple investigations by US & UK authorities. Targetting trades on a Texas market to put it with DOJ's SDTX.

The individuals in the crosshairs had no history of trading in the oil futures market before the suspicious trades. They supposedly have connections to the Kremlin, but no verification of that.
Good thing they made it illegal to trade based on leaked government information in 2010!

Now all of those overseas traders using knowledge to trade on US markets are facing exposure!

We have been told Crossfire Hurricane was the Russian Collusion investigation, but @GeorgePapa19 is referred to as Crossfire Typhoon. Is CH the overall investigation or just the one into @carterwpage?

So yesterday, I tweeted this out with my usual #ButNothingsHappening hashtag.
A little bit of research has made it even more interesting!
An allegedly dirty retired FBI agent Babak Broumand connected to so many things and his co-conspirators connected to some gigantic cases.
So who is Special Agent Babak Broumand and who is he connected to?
Well when he left the FBI in January 2019, he landed in a very nice post as University of California at Berkeley investigating Whistleblower complaints...
Before that he spent 20 years with the FBI staying in the San Francisco area he entire career. While using some of it to line his pocket taking pay offs for information to help organized crime evade FBI investigations. His focus national security cases, terrorism & counterintel.

Both stories are about the same guy, a retired Milwaukee PD LT who became a CJ prof at Univ of Memphis after retirement.
I’m going to post the picture, to save this. With almost 3000 retweets, this hostile account just embarrassed this entire side of twitter.
She made sure the sub headline was blurry so it wasn’t clear it was 2 article both naming the same guy.
The article from Milwaukee refers to Lenard Wells as a retired Milwaukee Police LT. Then in the story says he was home visiting from out of state & mentions he was an instructor at University of Memphis. She doesn’t link either story, because it would take you 10 seconds to see.
