The term "virtue signaling" is so overused but the predicament many vocal #MeToo advocates find themselves in with regards to Biden is a great example of it. They made performative "I believe ALLLLLL women" type statements for social credit and now they're hamstrung by them.
This happens a lot, but here it's such a pure example that I propose we just name this phenomenon "Milano's Knot" in commemoration of Alyssa Milano's sure-to-be-legendary magical discovery of the joys of due process.
