I don’t know where to start with this. Deaths make no sense whatsoever. They refer to 70% of 3811 deaths being “outside the hospital setting”
That would be 2667 community deaths. NOT consistent with ONS data (4316)

Deaths below don’t add up when comparing notes with yesterday
This is the ONS breakdown of COVID certified deaths up to 17/4/2020.

I’m sorry @DHSCgovuk

This simply is not good enough.

Let us have some clarity with separate reporting lines so we all can see what numbers you are ascribing to each place of death cumulatively and daily.
I shall look more closely at the 55k+ claimed test figures when I can see the “4 pillar” reporting. Especially given that simply “posting a test” was counted as completing a test a couple of days back.

A bit like me putting out flour, eggs, sugar and saying “There’s a cake”.
This is the DHSC explanation referring to 3811 deaths being made up of 70% deaths (2667) other than hospital and 30% (1143) hospital deaths not identified by NHSE but by PHE testing labs. The latter a welcome addition in the sense of better quality diagnostic data.
Right. The @DHSCgovuk are only counting deaths in the community accompanied by a +ve test.

Not even those with COVID on the death certificate.

So having severely rationed testing including in care homes, refused hospital admission & treatmentthey STILL aren’t being counted.
