.@Airbus says it is developing a modification for the A330 and A350 that'll enable airlines to load freight pallets directly onto the cabin floor seat tracks instead of on seats. Benefit is easier/quicker loading and reduce wear on seats.
Since passenger aircraft don't have a main deck cargo door, I assume these pallets are put in place and the cargo is still loaded by hand through the passenger door? Just somewhere to put boxes that isn't on passenger seats?
