OK, #InternationalJazzDay thread.

A few gems I think you'll enjoy, from America's greatest art form.

First up, Oscar Peterson's brilliant 1960s trio with Ray Brown on bass and Ed Thigpen on drums. The most elegant and swinging music you'll ever hear.

Here's Bobby Hutcherson (vibes) playing a beautiful composition, Wrong or Right.

With

Emanuel Boyd -- Tenor Sax
Ray Drummond -- Bass
Larry Hancock -- Drums
Harold Land -- Flute
Bill Henderson -- Piano
Kenneth Nash -- Percussion
Woody Shaw -- Trumpet

And Bill Evans at the Village Vanguard with Scott LaFaro on bass and Paul Motian on drums.

(LaFaro died tragically in his 20s.)

A truly gorgeous ballad from Stan Getz on tenor, Jim McNeely on piano, Billy Hart on drums, and the genius, underrated Marc Johnson on bass.

Here's an early Joe Henderson recording, among the greatest sax players of all time.

A classic from the one and only McCoy Tyner, who passed to the other realm very recently. A giant of music.

Some more swinging, tasteful piano from Kenny Barron.

If you like trumpet, here are two of the very best together: Freddie Hubbard and Woody Shaw.
