We have just published deeper spatial analysis of COVID mortality and all-cause mortality from March to mid April.

This includes an interactive map of COVID deaths at MSOA level (small area statistical geography)

Mortality rates are always higher in more deprived areas as a result of health inequalities. But COVID-19 is having a proportionally higher impact on the most deprived areas.

This may be influenced by a number of factors.
