Putting aside the limitations on the data because it is just based on a small sample size, the conclusion he is citing about hospitalizations being comparable to the flu is just for people 65+. The same report says the hospitalization rate for people under 65 is higher.
In addition, you will notice Alex magically skipped the mortality data in the report, which shows the current death levels (& likely missing some deaths due to lag in reporting) due to flu + COVID is significantly higher than epidemic threshold and seasonal baseline. 
And the thing is that Alex never gets held accountable for consistently saying things that aren't true or making predictions that are completely wrong.
