India never had a PLAN!
Else they would have respected the basic principle of supply vs demand economics for test kits to PPEs, yep, China is our neighbour and it is an epidemic. You don't need WHO to tell you every single thing to plan in advance, but we didn't heed that too!

Thanks to some health journalists, who asked very tough questions to ICMR & MoHFW and exposed the the various inefficiencies and madness in the system, so that the Government forced to act, but gagged their mouths from asking proding questions, which is an essential in a pandemic

If Govt of India facilitated at least one third of testing they have done is the last week, during the first lockdown, what we are now seeing in Maharashtra, Gujarat, TN & MP could have been avoided.

Even now an arm of Government wants to test the magical curing powers of Ganga water, thanks for the spine shown by ICMR to reject that.

They are going ahead with the 20K crores Central vista project, 8.6K crores wider aircrafts, they wasted tons of crores on statues instead of public health and education.
