Tonight, she will headline a Biden campaign event while ignoring new explosive comments from Tara Reade – Biden’s former staffer who has accused him of sexual assault.

Duckworth is rumored to be a potential running mate for Biden… and now she’s tossing aside Tara Reade & the multiple women who’ve said Biden’s touching made them uncomfortable in favor of her own personal political ambitions.

Before Biden was accused, Duckworth “believed all women” & gleefully participated in the evidence-free, politically motivated smearing of Brett Kavanaugh.

She adorned her office with “believe survivors” signs.

Now, because it's Biden, she doesn't care.

Duckworth’s dismissal of Reade in support of Biden cannot be reconciled with her recent statements about believing and trusting women who level allegations of sexual assault:

👉 “To every survivor: I see you and I believe you.”

👉 “We must first and foremost protect and support the alleged victim as they come forward. This is a very difficult thing that she is doing and I applaud her for her courage.”

👉 “This is why we must have an independent investigation into it and trust the victim as they come forward, and we must take it with all seriousness and not let partisanship get in the way of really finding out the truth.”

👉 “I don't blame her for wanting to remain private as long as possible. Again, this is normal behavior from victims of sexual trauma who wait until the last minute, if possible.”

By Duckworth’s own standards, her politically motivated dismissal of Tara Reade’s allegations means she isn’t treating women with the respect they deserve
