This is the table of contact tracers already recruited and the numbers still to be recruited from Germany.

Note it is regional. And already well underway.

In the U.K. only the most superficial information provided. Turns out that the bulk of the intended 18k are call handlers

And, whilst the Gov says that it is confident they will have the 18k recruited by mid May (NB there were under 300 as a starting point) there’s no information about where we are or how it is to be managed.

It is 10th May now. C55k excess deaths in.

This answers another question I have been asking.

Once traced how is it to be followed through with effective action?

Germany is recruiting “containment scouts” who work alongside contact tracers to be spread across 400 Local Health Authorities

And Germany supplied the information on how far they have got, and how far still to go @spread across Regions.

As for Apps. Germany has accepted that decentralised approach is more likely to gain adherence.
