New Zealand lifted its lockdown measures today with a third straight day of zero #Covid19 cases.

The country now has just 65 active cases, and 2 people in hospital.

It comes the same day the Government unveils a Budget of $50 billion to fight a deep incoming recession
NZ's $50Bn Budget 2020 will focus on jobs, training and infrastructure:
- $3.2b for an 8 week extension to the wage subsidy scheme (total now $14b)
- $3b infrastructure investment- 8000 new public homes
-$1.6b for trades/apprenticeship training
- has only allocated $15.9b so far
British scientists are now examining the tougher quarantines countries like New Zealand have imposed on overseas travellers, in order to mimic them in the UK.

Comes as NZ announces 25 cases of #Covid19 were caught at the border since the quarantine was implemented on April 9
