Government to introduce legislation on temperature testing following Regulatory Authority advice on data protection and privacy, that the Government, nevertheless, says it does not agree with.
Government 'justifies' measures its taken against the spread of Covid-19 saying it was based on expert advice and trends elsewhere. Hindsight is a very good thing....
John Cortes says pollution levels are lower that before lockdown and air quality has improved. Graphs will be made public.
Over 130,000 visits to the 'virtual' museum since it opened 8 weeks ago. 18th of May Museum Open Day. Varied programme. Gibraltar sports, culture and art continues online.

Minister for Digital and Financial Services, Albert Isola : Unlock the Rock plan will tackle fighting the virus and also getting the economy going again.
Albert Isola gives thanks to all departments under his ministry who have ensured it's been 'business as usual' behind the scenes. (including GBC)

Albert Isola: e-services should be the nom and not the exception. Development and Planning Commission meetings will be 'virtual' as will meeting of Parliament for those who wish. Services continue to be offered with Government having streamlined the technology.
Government to opt for a 'decentralised' app for contact tracing. Your data will not be stored or shared.
Albert Isola: Together we will come out of this stronger. Businesses are playing their part and paying fees which they could have deferred.
CELAC to meet next week to discuss 'Unlock the Rock' business measures. Describes businesses as resilient and forward thinking.
GRA an independent body, which takes independent decision. Government doesn't agree the question of temperature testing at shops infringes data protection as it's for the protection of people. It will introduce legislation for the avoidance of doubt.
Albert Isola says traffic changes 'a pilot scheme' with a consultation process ongoing. John Cortes says he doesn't envisage the problems people are anticipating.
Roche anti body tests were not available at the time Gibraltar ordered. John Cortes : "sure the tests Gibraltar will bring are acceptable."
Decentralised app for contact tracing Gibraltar will be using will not even require you to register. Requires 60% of population for its success. Government wants people to trust it and not be worried of personal data being stored.
Many who haven't been successful with Beat Covid measures have not been processing their applications correctly.
Government counters were closed on public health grounds but Minister for Financial Services says he would like to see fewer counters as a norm.
Monday will see the last Covid-19 'daily' press conference.
