@jill_d35 @NoMoreStigmaMH (2) We've only been together a few months, so this intense period of living together has taught me a great deal about the brain injury he sustained from #ECT in 2015, and the impact this has had on his life. It is still has a huge impact now, in both of our lives.

He had a good career, two degrees, was fit, climbed mountains, spoke 7 languages. Now he is unable to work due to cognitive impairment and has days when walking is difficult.

@jill_d35 @NoMoreStigmaMH 5) On top of this, we have to witness daily the abuse of harmed patients by Twitter psychiatrists, in total denial about the harm they are causing. These people rely on manipulated evidence, and abuse anyone who attempts to uncover the truth about efficacy of treatment.

An apology from @rcpsych for the behaviour of its members on social media. This is unlikely to happen as the current leadership appears to condone it.

Harmed patients raising awareness of the possible consequences or bullying Twitter psychiatrists trying to impose their self serving narrative to retain control?

I see the effects of it daily, here at home and in the huge harmed community. It's time to acknowledge that the current model has utterly failed to make a positive difference.

People deserve better Jem, they deserve the facts & the ability to make an informed choice based in truth. This is about human rights, not some stupid guild war. Full stop.
