Over the years the regime has systematically tortured & abused citizens . It has particularly been harsh on women. Thousands of women were raped & killed during Gukurahundi.Talent Mabika, Jestina Mukoko & Concilia Chinanzvavana are recent victims of murder & torture & brutality
The regime s attempt to deny or deflect responsibility is its pathetic DNA.Its a regime that has cut its teeth in violence & murder. Emmerson in particular has been at the epicenter of all the extreme episodes of violence in recent history,from Gukurahundi , 2008 to the present
We can’t continue allowing rapists & fascists to continue presiding over our affairs.We owe it to ourselves&future generations to draw lines & say enoughThose with blood on their hands,those who have raped killed tortured & maimed our people should now accept that it is now time

2.The #SADC Organ on Defense &Security should surely have met.This kind of unilateralism which we saw during the #DRC civil is foolish &costly &against basic tenets of international law Wars are protracted &costly.The involvement of the region was precondition to any involvement
3.Further any involvement should only have been part of a #SADC Mission&nothing else. Parliament should be notified& constitution should be followed But Zim is in #COVID war & can’t even afford basic PCR Tests .This move is total madness .Zim can’t afford unilateralism nor a war

1) The power situation can be resolved immediately by any decent caring & competent gvt . As a matter of urgency the regime should scrap the fuel subsidy to #Sakunda & #Trafigura & use that to guarantee importation of at least 400 MW of energy .
2) Secondly @ZetdcOfficial must levy & collect charges in US$ to guarantee permanent imports .If this is done it’s only fair & logical that energy consumers must also levy their labor ,services & goods in US$. Thirdly there must a be a scientific &systematic push to green energy
3)Fourth there must be resolution of the country sovereign debt crises to enable access to cheap funds held particularly at the World Bank & African Development Bank . Development Finance key & necessary to fund major infrastructure energy projects.

1 There are 7 critical issues affecting the Zim economy 1) distorted monetary policy 2) deficit financing3) over taxation 4)zero productivity 5) hyperinflation. 6) social services collapse 7) unemployment 8) corruption. Today s budget will be tested on ability to address these
2 It is clear that there is no courage nor desire to address above key structural issues . It is not possible to have reform without reformers. It is beyond the regime to address corruption, including command Agriculture .Reform has been subordinated to vested interests& capture
3) Budgeting in hyperinflation reality is waste of time . A ZWL$30 billion budget is a mere US$1.5 billion & is a massive contraction.Economy is in a deep recession with 2020 growth around -12% . Exercises in self deception must be abandoned. Political crises needs resolution
