Well today was going to be first evening event to promote the book. Dates planned all over the UK. A chance to actually talk about it to people after two years trapped in the house writing it. But instead I shall sit at home and eat curry.
It's kind of a sick joke to play on writers, imposing a lock down after two years of self imposed lock-down. One of my first thoughts was: Couldn't this have happened a year ago? Then at least I could have been reassured that no-one else was having any fun.
Still though. Chana daal. Could be worse.
