This is the #MSBuild talk I'll be livetweeting today.
All logged in for @editingemily's talk.

I'm slightly concerned that the #MSBuild attendee login flow has what looked like at least six redirects.

"Your conference is in another castle."
Emily's the author of "DevOps For Dummies," which sadly is missing the "is for" buried in the title.
#MSBuild
Today I learned @editingemily is the only person who can use the term "DevOps Transformation" and not have me immediately snark them to death. #MSBuild
I feel like the alt-text for this image should be "WTF, computer?!"

#MSBuild
Amazing. @editingemily gave a whole intro, and THEN said "I'm Emily Freeman. I'm a Principal Dev Advocate at Azure."

I *adore* the delayed introduction. Hook folks, THEN hurl business cards at them once they've grown complacent! #MSBuild
"DevOps starts with culture." Particularly the culture of @mattstratton yelling at you about DevOps from a stage.
#MSBuild
"Your engineers may not be focused on writing tests" because they're too busy failing them. #MSBuild
"Dandelions suck" says @editingemily, refusing to pander to the Young Child demographic. #MSBuild
"Accidentally deleting a production database" says @editingemily, but the laughter feels a hair's breadth away from tears.

Yup. That's DevOps! #MSBuild
"We all work at different companies" says @editingemily, twisting the knife into @azureadvocates's failure to hire the entire world. #MSBuild
I envy @editingemily the level of trust required for an employee to answer a question like that honestly at times. #MSBuild
"I have been fired" says @editingemily.

So have I.

So have a lot of people.

The stigma needs to go away. #MSBuild
I don't know if it's the actual goal of the talk, but the effect is most definitely "holy crap would I love having @editingemily as a manager." #MSBuild
"Many people aren't motivated by cold hard cash; money is an extrinsic motivator. No, that doesn't mean you get to shortchange people." --@editingemily #MSBuild
"I will now take your questions, but first check out Microsoft Learn."
#MSBuild
Okay, that caught me flat footed--I'd assumed this was pre-recorded, but no; @editingemily is now taking live Q&A with no reset.

Holy crap she did it live.

#MSBuild
"In the past, bringing muffins worked super well; how does that work with @microsoftteams?" @editingemily is a goddamned professional and doesn't stoop to insulting Teams's abysmal session / cookie handling. #MSBuild
"What about DevOps vs. SRE?" Someone hasn't heard MMA has been canceled.

@editingemily's answer nailed it, but I'm not going to summarize it here because I don't want to get letters. #MSBuild
And that rounds out her talk. As always, a wonderful presentation. #MSBuild
